Those Amazing Noob Operations from Your Noob Days in Minecraft

Now, you have long become a veteran Minecraft player. You’ve built countless mansions, slain the Ender Dragon too many times, and even played through hundreds of mods. But do you still remember what it was like when you first played Minecraft? Do you still remember those “amazing operations” that now make you laugh and cry when you look back on them?

Punching Trees

Do you still remember what happened when you first discovered that wood could be broken? I believe many players, even though they had no idea what wood was for, would still fill their entire inventory with it.

Although there’s nothing wrong with punching trees to get started on your journey to riches, breaking that much wood with your bare hands is really hard work. Well, many players might also develop the habit of planting trees whenever they can.

Hiding in Holes

When night falls, zombies and skeletons come out for a stroll. They spot a cute newbie punching trees, and naturally, they can’t resist giving him a good beating. After that, the days of hiding from monsters began.

I believe most players would dig a hole in the ground, hide inside, seal the top with dirt, and patiently wait for the night to pass. Some people would occasionally open the seal to check if the sky had turned bright yet.

Beating Up Villagers

Villages were extremely rare in older versions of the game. Do you remember how you reacted the first time you saw a villager? This unfamiliar creature probably startled many players. After all, every humanoid creature you had encountered before would attack you. So I believe I’m not the only one who gave those villagers a good beating.

I bet many players coveted the villagers’ houses when they first saw them. Since most people could only build dirt huts back then, quite a few players must have taken over the villagers’ homes. “Nice house. It’s mine now.”

Planting Crops

After discovering villages, many players learned that farming was possible. The villagers really taught us a lot. Although directly using the villagers’ farmland wasn’t a bad option, wanting to have your own farm was only natural.

So most players started building their own farms. A 9×9 farm actually only needs one block of water. But the layout of village farms is easily misleading, so the farms built by most players probably looked very similar to the villagers’ farms.

How many of these “amazing operations,” only committed by first-time players, have you done?
